Today on Mother’s day I am saddened by the memory of my mom’s death – 4 years ago. The sadness lasted as long as I went outside to look at a new nest my wife had spotted. To my delight, I was able to enjoy and appreciate a mother bird feeding he3r baby chicks. It was a universal reminder of a mother’s love for her children. My heart filled with joy and warm loving memories flooded back of my own mom as I watched the bird’s instinctual love that demonstrated by her feeding her baby chicks. It reminded me of my mother and the unconditional love she showed all of her children. Within my heart, the memories of Mikki Rosenberg were rekindled. To all the mother’s here and gone, happy Mothers Day!
